In our business, we sometimes joke that we work 24 hours a day since Pro Power Clean’s operations continue around the clock alternating between daytime managerial jobs and the night time maintenance crews. When we do escape for a weekend or so we try not to go too far which is why, like many other Treasure Valley residents, we love McCall! In our opinion, McCall is an oasis of all seasons with plenty of recreational activities to offer just about anyone. However, this upcoming weekend kicks off one of our all-time favorite events: The Winter Carnival!
The McCall Winter Carnival is a two week long festival that brings visitors from all over to witness the famed mountain town light up with events and celebration amidst dozens of snow sculptures that are peppered around town. This event begins and ends with a fireworks show over Payette Lake. The Mardi Gras Parade will start the fun on Saturday afternoon followed by live music, a beer garden, Snowbike races, snowshoe golf, and plenty of opportunities to view the sculptures. The party continues on with daily activities and events until the following weekend’s closing ceremonies and fireworks over the lake.
